As a graduate of Bennett Beauty Institute, now known as Bennett Career Institute, I was trained in a family owned and operated business that stressed caring for their students and clients.

My association with the Bennett Career Institute inspired me to enter competitions and introduced me to the exciting world behind the scenes of coordinating, including fashion shows and platform artistry.

Included in my achievements are several "in-school" hair and nail competition winnings;
1st place winner of the Rodger Gore - Budwiser Classic Cuts, a local  student competition and the most exciting experience... working for the "Pantene Total You Tour and the Tampax Total You Tour. It is a big event that takes place at the Washington Convention Center.
